Raut sparked controversy on social media after a video of him kissing Kriti Sanon, the lead actress in the film, on her cheek went viral.
In the video, Raut can be seen bidding goodbye to Sanon as the latter leaves the premise of Tirupati temple.The film’s trailer at Sri Venkateswara University Stadium in Tirupati.
Dipika Chikhlia, who ruled everyone’s hearts with her spectacular performance in Ramanand Sagar’s television show Ramayan, has reacted to this.
On a recent conversation with aajtak she said that the actors of today’s generation neither understand the characters nor their emotions.
She also added perhaps today’s actors are not spiritually connected with the Ramayana and have taken it only as a film.
The film will be released on June 16 in five languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
