India vs Pakistan becomes the most-watched T20 in history.ICC on Thursday revealed the recent match between India and Pakistan has created a new history.
The match has created and new record for the most views with 15.9 billion minutes in India alone. The tournament itself got a viewership of 167 million.
About 10000 hours of live coverage was offered on TV and on the digital platforms in 200 countries. According to the reports there was consumption of 15.9 billion minutes in India on the Star India Network.
The match has crossed the early records of India-West Indies semi-final match from the 2016 edition of the ICC event held in India.
Despite India’s early exit from the tournament overall, TV consumption for the full tournament in India was recorded at 112 billion minutes.
