Shubhanshu Shukla Axiom 4 Mission
Shubhanshu Shukla has landed on earth,it was a water landing off California..According to the reports every one is safe and they landed harmlessly into the sea rather than risking populated areas.
Shubhanshu Shukla and his Axiom-4 crewmates, including Commander Peggy Whitson, ESA astronaut Slawosz Uznanski-Wisniewski and HUNOR astronaut Tibor Kapu completed an 18-day mission aboard the International Space Station.As per the reports Shubhanshu will return to India on17th august 2025.
President Droupadi Murmu welcomed Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla.She wrote on X,”A hearty welcome to Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla as he comes back on Earth after his space journey. His role in piloting of Axiom Mission 4 to the International Space Station has created a new milestone for India’s space exploration as well as for international collaboration in science and technology. My congratulations to everyone involved in this mission”(sic).

Landing in the ocean using the Dragon spacecraft is safer as the heavy parts of the spacecraft, like the trunk, are dropped into the sea before re-entering Earth.This helps avoid any risk to people on the ground.
