The makers had cast Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur to play the lead role with Deva Katta as the director. Actor Rahul Bose and Atul Kulkarni has, later on, joined the cast.
The series has been shot within 6 months. The shooting has been done in Hyderabad on Massive sets with an estimated budget of hundred crores.
According to the sources and the reports the approximate figure invested in this series is rupees 150 crores. Baahubali franchise was fronted by Prabhas.
