Actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra has been arrested, by Mumbai Police in a pornography case.After his arrest, Raj’s old tweets about ‘porn vs prostitution’ from 2012 are going viral on the internet.
He had written, “Ok so here go’s Porn Vs Prostitution. Why is it legal to pay someone for sex on camera? How is one different to the other??”(sic)
His other tweet read, “India: Actors are playing cricket, Cricketers are playing politics, Politicians are watching porn and Porn stars are becoming actors….!” (sic)
Mumbai Police Commissioner, Hemant Nagrale has confirmed that Raj Kundra has been arrested by Mumbai Police. He said that,” a case was registered against Raj Kundra in February 2021 to the Mumbai Crime Branch about the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps. We’ve arrested Mr Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this.”
