A twin seat Jaguar trainer of Indian air force crashed during a routine training mission in churu district of rajasthan on 9th july 2025,resulting in the death of both pilots on board.
The IAF said in a statement,”An IAF Jaguar Trainer aircraft met with an accident during a routine training mission and crashed near Churu in Rajasthan, today. Both pilots sustained fatal injuries in the accident. No damage to any civil property has been reported
IAF deeply regrets the loss of lives and stands firmly with the bereaved families in this time of grief. A court of inquiry has been constituted, to ascertain the cause of the accident.”
The aircraft crashed in an village named Bhanoda Village.Both pilots onboard sustained fatal injuries—confirmed dead—and no civilian property was affected.
This marks the third Jaguar crash of 2025:
- One in March near Ambala (no casualties),
- Another in April near Jamnagar (one pilot killed, one injured)
