She addressed the crew as her team and wrote,”To my team, This wasn’t just a film for any of us. Every single person poured themselves into making Lokah what it is, and I’m lucky that I got to work alongside you all. You’ve seen me at my lowest..when I failed multiple times.
When I broke down, when I cried. You’ve also been there, cheering the loudest, when I succeeded or managed to push past something hard. And through all of it, every moment I spent with you was a joy I’ll never forget. You became a family to me, and I’ll always be proud that I got to work with you.”(sic)

The character chandra is a mysterious woman who moves to Bangalore and works nights at a café, observed by two unemployed bachelors, Sunny (Naslen) and Venu.
And then as the story goes on the audience get to know that she is not a normal woman, but the mythical entity Kalliyankattu Neeli, a legendary vengeful spirit from Kerala folklore.

The actors gave an interview recently with mirchi plus, when the two of them were asked what they made of these comparisons with Chennai Express, they gave replies which has made the fans too much happy.
Sidharth said, “I think it’s a great thing. I love Chennai Express! I think it’s a good reference. I take it as a compliment. The picture was released 10 years ago. Definitely, these two films are not the same!”.
Janhvi added, “It’s a hit movie and an iconic movie. But Deepika [Padukone] played a Tamilian in the film, and I play a half-Tamilian, half-Malayali girl… which, if you think about it, is a generalisation happening from the people who are comparing the two films.
I am from Kerala in the film, and not all people from the South can be grouped together. It’s a different milieu altogether, and it’s not like that this is a repetitive thing at all. 2 States was similar, but it came after Chennai Express, and these kinds of films aren’t being released every year.
The point is people aren’t comparing us to something that needs to be forgotten, Chennai Express was an iconic film, with iconic characters and actors.”
