UPI New rules that can set a limit to the features you are using now for unlimited number of times.The orders has been rolled out from the Indian government and now they are being implemented all over the country .
The set of rules for UI transactions as updated on august 1,2025 are listed below:
- Balance Checking Limit-Yes,now you can check you bank balance through your upi only for 50 times a day.Even if you are just refreshing out of habit.
- Linked Account Check Limit-You can now view your linked bank accounts in you upi apps for only 25 times a day.
- Autopay Time Slots-This features is used for many purposes by us but now the transaction time for the autopay feature will be at a certain time .No more random debit timings throughout the day.
If we think from the view of a normal user the limits would not effect them but for shops and merchants the limits may be a hurdle for them to solve it .There no changes in the upi transaction limit and this is a good news.
The transaction limit stay the same that is -you can pay Rs.1lakh per transaction.And 5lakhs for health and education cases.
