Fans of The Summer I Turned Pretty have reason to celebrate! Following the emotional series finale on September 17, 2025, Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios announced that a feature film is in development to continue Belly Conklin’s journey.
As of now, an official release date for the movie has not been announced. Jenny Han, the creator of the series, mentioned that it’s “still a little too soon to say” when the film will premiere.
However, she confirmed that she and co-showrunner Sarah Kucserka have completed a draft of the script.
The movie is expected to be available on Prime Video in over 100 countries, including the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia. Specific release dates will be announced closer to the premiere.
