Prime Video has officially greenlit a feature film continuation of its hit series The Summer I Turned Pretty, following the release of its third and final season.
The announcement was made during a celebratory event in Paris on September 17, 2025, just hours after the series finale aired.
Author and showrunner Jenny Han will return to write and direct the film, aiming to provide a meaningful conclusion to protagonist Belly Conklin’s journey.
Han expressed gratitude to Prime Video for supporting her vision and allowing her to share this final chapter with fans.
The film will feature the return of Lola Tung as Belly and Christopher Briney as Conrad Fisher. Details about the plot remain under wraps, but Han hinted at a significant milestone in Belly’s life that the movie will explore.
