Legendary Princeton basketball coach Pete Carril Dies at 92

Pete Carril who led Princeton to 13 Ivy League championships has passed away.

Pete's family announced the news of his death in a statement through the school.

In 1975 Carril’s Tigers won the NIT Title.The whole basketball world in sad after the news.

Carril left Princeton after that Cinderella season and the he worked as an assistant coach in the NBA

Carril’s final season with Princeton was in 1996, when the Tigers ousted defending champion UCLA in the the NCAA tournament.

In 1998 Carril was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame .
