Now the film is released on OTT,sparking excitement among fans-and some controversy over its early release.After a successful theatrical run the makers are very hopeful that film will also do good on OTT.
Recently,James Gunn took to his X handle and wrote,”#Superman is coming to your homes this Friday, 8/15. Available now for pre-order. Or catch it while it’s still in theaters!“(sic). The film will be released in 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on September 23, 2025.
Superman’s Global Box Office
The global box office income of the movie,currently stands at $581 million (approximately Rs 5,091 crore), according to Box Office Mojo and $331 million in US and Canada , making it the highest-grossing Superman film ever in North America.Milly Alcock made her DCU debut with a short but memorable cameo in Superman’s post-credits scene.
The breakdown of the box office income goes-UK ($32.2 million), Mexico ($21 million), Brazil ($16 million), Australia ($14 million), France ($11 million), Spain ($8.7 million), India ($7 million), Korea ($6.2 million each) and Japan ($5.8 million).
