The indian actress Shilpa Shirodkar was recently seen in an interview with pinkvilla.And she revealed some interesting facts about career that how she was given the tag of unfortunate in the starting days of her career.And later how she became a well know star in the industry.
Shilpa Shirodkar is a well known actress of the 90s.In an conversation with media house pinkvilla she revealed that she has just started her career in the industry when all her initial films failed in the box office.And people gave her the tag”Jinxed”.
Shilpa recalled that she was very sad when Rikku Rakesh Nath, Madhuri Dixit’s manager, presented her portfolio to Mithun.And mithun at that time was asuperstar he trusted Rikku and and gave shilpa the chance to play the role in his upcoming movie.
She added that mithun launched with a bengali film in the tollywood industry in kolkata in a grand event.Shilpa said that since dada(mithun) was very close to Rikku Ji he did not even think twicw and said that he will launch her.
Shilpa Shirodkar and Mithun Chakraborty collaborated on several films including Bhrashtachar (1989), Swarg Yahan Narak Yahan (1991), Trinetra (1991), Jeevan Ki Shatranj (1993), and Hitler (1998).
