A Battle of Galwan shooting has began and the actor and the director has shared the glimpse from their shooting location that is ladakh.The movie will be a war drama based on the 2020 border clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers.
Shooting began in Ladakh on August 22, 2025, with director Apoorva Lakhia sharing glimpses of the set on Instagram.
As per the reports salman will be playing the role of Colonel B. Santosh Babu, the commanding officer of the 16 Bihar Regiment who led Indian troops during the confrontation and was posthumously awarded the Maha Vir Chakra.
A Battle of Galwan Film Cast
The film is based on the June 15, 2020 clash in the Galwan Valley.Alongside Salman Khan, the cast includes Chitrangda Singh, Zeyn Shaw, Ankur Bhatia, and Harshil Shah.Himesh Reshammiya is composing the music, and the film is produced by Salman Khan Films.
The movie will be a heartfelt tribute to the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers.The film aims to blend nationalism, intense action, and emotional storytelling.
