Akshay explained that his daughter was playing an online game when she received a message from someone she did not know. First, the person asked if she was male or female. When she replied, the stranger quickly asked her to send nude pictures.
Frightened by the request, she immediately stopped playing and told her mother about it. Akshay shared this story to show how unsafe online platforms can be, even for children who only want to play games.
Akshay Kumar’s Request to the Government
After this incident, Akshay Kumar appealed to the Maharashtra government to start a weekly cyber safety class in schools. He suggested that students from class 7 to class 10 should learn about online dangers and how to stay safe.
According to him, children spend a lot of time on the internet, but they are not always aware of how to protect themselves. A cyber period in schools could help them understand what to do if they face such situations.
