Bollywood is once again buzzing with speculation about star kids, and this time it’s about Nysa Devgan, daughter of Kajol and Ajay Devgn.
Karan Johar’s Interest in Launching Nysa Devgan in Bollywood
In a recent conversation on Shubhankar Mishra’s YouTube channel, Kajol candidly revealed that filmmaker Karan Johar has already expressed interest in launching Nysa in the Hindi film industry.
According to Kajol, Karan has made “one or two phone calls” inquiring whether her children, especially Nysa, are ready to step into films.
Kajol, however, made it clear that Nysa is not ready at the moment to make her Bollywood debut. She emphasized that while the offers and interest are flattering, the final decision rests entirely with her daughter.
This statement echoes Kajol’s earlier remarks at the Rising Bharat Summit 2025, where she had highlighted that Nysa, now 22 years old, is free to make her own choices about her career path.
The revelation has fueled conversations online, especially given Karan Johar’s long history of introducing fresh faces into Bollywood.
Over the years, Johar has played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of several leading actors, and his interest in Nysa only adds to the curiosity about her future.
For now, Kajol maintains that while she and Ajay Devgn will fully support their daughter if she decides to enter acting, there is no immediate plan for a debut. Fans and industry watchers, however, remain keen to see whether Nysa follows in her parents’ footsteps or chooses an entirely different path.
