The highly awaited movie War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and N.T. Rama Rao Jr. (Jr NTR), has demonstrated mixed performance at the box office since its release on August 14, 2025. The film has been also released over seas.
As per the reports by the news portals by the tenth day, the film had accumulated approximately ₹214.5 crore net in the domestic market, with worldwide gross earnings reaching approximately ₹330 crore. The huge budget of the movie is a record in the film industry of India.
The YRF film universe has made films such as-Pathaan,Ek Tha Tiger,War.War 2 has managed to surpass the lifetime collections of Ek Tha Tiger (₹321 crore), making it not the lowest-grossing film in the YRF Spy Universe.
But if calculated the movie is the lowest box office movie of yrf ever. The fans are still appreciating the movie and the halls are going Housefull. Some of the fans are saying that the movie has no new concept and the story is very common.
The film needs to earn over ₹400 crore in net domestic collections to be considered a hit. The film has faced stiff competition from Rajinikanth’s Coolie, which maintained stronger occupancy rates.
