Brandon Blackstock was a talent manager. He was Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband, Blackstock was dad to four children: Savannah, Seth, River and Remington. On august 6,2025 Clarkson revealed in an Instagram post that “this past year, my children’s father has been ill”.

A representative for the family said in a statement: “It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away’. Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family.
We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.”(source-dailymail).

On august 7,people was the first to confirm that Brandon have passed away, at the age of 48 after a three-year battle with cancer.

The couple share a daughter, River, born in 2014, and a son, Remington, known as Remy, born in 2016.Clarkson announced late Wednesday that she was postponing the rest of her Las Vegas residency.
She also took to the social media and posted,”While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them,” Clarkson wrote. “I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows and I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding.”
