Santhosh Balaraj passed away at the age of 34,the son of the renowned film maker nekal Balraj passsed away on 5th august 2025.According to Asianet News, he was suffering from jaundice and was in the ICU.
As per the reports by the new portal the actor died due to ineffective treatment and was admitted to a private hospital in Karnataka.Santhosh used to live with his mother.
His father Anekal Balraj, died in 2022 in a car accident. The actor himself was not married.He has featured in several Kannada films in his career.
He was admitted to the ICU at Sagar Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru.Despite efforts to treat him, Santhosh passed away. He is best known for his work in films like Kariya 2 and Ganapa.

The actor began his career in 2009 with Kempa, where he played the lead role. He shared screens with Avinash, Ruchita Prasad, and Pradeep Singh Rawat.
But “Kariya 2, a film close to his heart, produced by his father, that gave him the recognition. The movie has an IMDb rating of 7.1, still appreciated by fans. He then was seen in family drama Olavina Ole (2012) and the action film Janma (2013).
